Kangana Ranaut has recently hogged the limelight after her bold statements. Irrespective of the fact, that they are sparking debates or not, she has never held back and has shown immense courage to speak up in the face of Bollywood.
Not only has she dared to speak against Bollywood but she has also managed to label people the way it should be done. Despite the fact that on recent occasions she has been haywire, when she was acting in all her glory she was one magnificent personality that one would always admire.
We will quickly take a look at the various things said by Kangana Ranaut about other celebrities.
- Kangana on Hrithik:
The duo’s relationship didn’t get so much traction like the way their break-up did. She said that Hrithik was running away from her after their breakup and is harassing her. She even complained to her father and highlighted the emails that were sent by Hrithik to her.
- Kangana on Adhyayan Suman
Kangana was accused of beating up Adhyayan Suman to which she replied, “He was 95 kgs and I am 49 kgs. How could I ever hit him? I wouldn’t be able to? However, now that I look at it, I should have hit him.”
- Kangana on Karan Johar
In a debate about nepotism, Kangana slammed KJO by calling him the flag-bearer of nepotism. She said, “In my biopic if ever it’s made, you’ll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia.”
- Kangana on Award functions:
Kangana quoted that the award functions are just a sham. She said, “I will not attend award ceremonies as they are merely for commercial purposes.”
- Kangana on Shabana Azmi:
She launched a scathing tirade against Shabana Azmi, citing, “People like Shabana Azmi calling for a halt on cultural exchange – they are the ones who promote Bharat Tere Tukde Honge gangs… why did they organize an event in Karachi in the first place when Pakistani artistes have been banned after Uri attacks? And now they are trying to save face?”
She also said, “The film industry is full of such anti-nationals who boost enemies’ morals in many ways, but right now is the time to focus on decisive actions… Pakistan ban is not the focus, Pakistan destruction is.”
- Kangana on Alia:
She went completely ballistic and slammed Alia Bhatt big time. She quoted, “I suggest that she grows some spine and support an important film about women empowerment and nationalism.”
- Kangana on Sonu Sood:
Kangana claimed that Sonu Sood didn’t want to act under a female director so he decided to walk out of Manikarnika. A statement which she later went on to rue because the netizens slammed her for the same.
Now let us take a look at Kangana’s statements:
Kangana on not being able to speak English, cited, “When I started out, I was treated like a dog. People in the industry treated me like I didn’t deserve to be spoken to and I was some unwanted object. I couldn’t speak English fluently and people made fun of me for that. So dealing with rejection became a part of life. I may have had hits, but to date, I’ve never worked with a Shah Rukh Khan or an Akshay Kumar, or Aamir or Salman. I have made my career out of leftovers and rejects of other actresses. All that has taken a toll, I guess. I find it hard to deal with praise. Today, when people say that I have made it and made it on my own, I feel like locking up myself somewhere… It scares me.”
Kangana slammed Hrithik Roshan for not managing to get a role in Aashiqui 3. According to her, it was Hrithik who wanted her out and she said, “I can’t understand why ex-boyfriends do such stupid things just to get attention.”
Kangana also said that when she was shameless, psychopath, witch, and a cunning person, everyone used to respect her and it is an achievement.
Apparently, Kangana’s heartbroken was broken every time without any of her faults. She said that she dated an actor, a model, and a doctor and every one taught her the same thing.
Kangana also spoke about her beginning of Bollywood journey and stated, “It is true that in the beginning, even I wanted to. I went through that phase where I straightened my hair, I stuffed my lips with botox, I started to do films like Rascals, I wore a bikini — I wanted to be desperately accepted. I went through that. I wanted to be on the cover pages of magazines. I wanted to win awards. But it is not going to help. I was still B-grade and they did not accept me.”
Kangana accepted the fact that she was painful for her parents though the reason is unsure. Her comment on stance was pretty ambiguous.
Kangana has no competitors. She is the best in what she does according to her. No other actress could have portrayed the roles of Queen and Tanu Weds Manu.
