Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Films is biggest blockbuster of this year. Half of the 2022 has passed by and movie is still year’s highest grosser in terms of box office collection. The low-budget film was released in March and outnumbered expectations of everyone collecting Rs 252.90 crore all over india.
Anees Bazmee’s directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani is the second top-grossing Bollywood movie of this year.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has so far collected Rs 163.15 crore and is expected to reach Rs 175 crore by the conclusion of its tenure. The Kashmir Files created the buzz across the country when it came out.

A Wednesday fame Naseeruddin Shah recently opened up about The Kashmir Files and as part of a discussion he also discussed about actors and directors partaking in patriotic initiatives.
Naseeruddin Shah, a prominent actor, reportedly commented to the success of the movie by calling it an “almost fictionalized” movie.

Shah was asked about the striking success of The Kashmir Files and also about celebrities like Akshay Kumar producing movies like Samrat Prithviraj in an interview with NDTV
He answered,
“They want to be on the winning side…..(The Kashmir Files)an almost fictionalized version of the suffering of Kashmiri Hindus…. the government is promoting it.”
After witnessing the astonishing success of movies like The Kashmir Files, Naseeruddin predicts an increase in the amount of “pseudo-patriotic films” in the nation.
Replying to Naseeruddin Shah’s comments
Kashmir Files director responded by sharing a tape from an encounter in which the actor discusses the complications of extermination and claims that spoke about “you get a slap on the wrist.”
Agnihotri replied about the clip, saying,
“I agree with this. You are indeed abused and penalized for talking about Kashmiri Hindu Genocide in your own country.”
In Vivek Agnihotri’s war drama series The Kashmir Files is second one. The Tashkent Files was the first movie, and it starred Naseeruddin Shah in a lead role.
Naseeruddin Shah was also asked about his opinion on the restraint of Bollywood’s top names, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, during the conversation. And he had nothing to say but went on to blame the drug case which included SRK’s son, Aryan saying,
“I cannot speak for them. I am not in the position they are in. I feel they think they would be risking too much. But then, I don’t know how they explain to their own conscience about it. But I think they are in a position where they have too much to lose.”
