Later on, after the win, during the post-match press conference, Smriti Mandhana revealed what Virat Kohli said during the video call. She revealed: “I couldn’t hear what he (Virat) said during the video call as it was very noisy out there. But there was happiness on his face. He spoke to us last season after our poor run and boosted our morale. Maybe I will chat with him when we reach Bangalore.”
The RCB Women’s team’s victory not only showcases their triumph in cricket but also reflects the unity and perseverance of women in cricket. Under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana and with stellar performances from key players, including Ellyse Perry, they clinched their first WPL title.
