For the unversed, in 2017, there was a significant altercation between Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, and Chandan Prabhakar while they were traveling on a flight back from Melbourne. Despite facing physical and verbal abuse from Kapil, Sunil remained composed and opted to distance himself from the comedian shortly after the incident. Now, after a span of seven years, the two are set to reunite once again.
In regards to the press coverage of their fallout, Sunil Grover stated: “Initially, I would get disturbed, but not anymore. I know the truth, so what someone says or understands is their problem, not mine. Those who point fingers, what is their credibility? If I need to answer something, I will do so, but usually there is no need for an explanation. They don’t have a full understanding of the matter, no facts, they are just saying something because it’s their job. Writing negative things grabs more attention. They will all understand eventually.”
In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla, Kapil Sharma admitted: “I’ve never felt insecurity. In fact, I’ve brought people in that I admired. I used to be short-tempered, I’ll admit. It was in my blood; I was an extremist. I would love passionately, and when I was angry, I would really lose composure. But I have improved.”
Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover had a disagreement on a flight, reportedly due to Sharma being intoxicated. However, they have since reconciled.
