Actress turned politician Smriti Irani will soon be making her debut as a writer. After years of hard work, the actress has been able to complete her book, titled, Lal Salaam. The Union Minister recently decided to promote her upcoming movie on the popular comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and talk about her writing, however, the shoot had to be canceled for all the bizarre reasons.
Well, things didn’t go as planned by the former actress as she was denied access to the show. As per the latest reports, Smriti Irani reached the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show in Mumbai, a private security guard stopped her from entering the venue. And the reason? Well, believe it or not, the reason why the security guard stopped him was that the Union Minister doesn’t travel with any security.
Yes, since Smriti Irani wasn’t traveling with any security guards with her, the security guard present at the sets of the Kapil Sharma Show was left confused and thus, he refused to let Irani enter the sets.
Though, Smriti Irani tried hard to explain to the guard that she was going to appear as the special guest on the show and that she is also a Union Minister, the security guard refused to believe her.
As per the reports, the security guard said that such big ministers don’t travel alone and are always accompanied by security personnel and the police force with them. Smriti went to the show like a common person, without any security personnel, and this led to confusion, and eventually, she was denied access to the show.
Smriti had only one hour for the Kapil Sharma Show and after waiting for half an hour, she left for the airport as she had to catch a flight to Delhi.
When Kapil Sharma got to know about the unfortunate incident, he scolded the guard but, the guard kept asking, “When do ministers travel without security?” Later, Kapil called Smriti Irani and apologized to her, explaining the entire situation to her, the reports said:
