Recently, during the promotion of “Murder Mubarak,” Sara Ali Khan expressed her discomfort when other actresses attempted to mimic or copy her.
In a video, which is now going crazily viral on the internet, Sara said, “It used to bother me when I used to think that I was being copied. Like this whole namaste, it’s not like an act. I genuinely greet people like that and suddenly it became a template that every girl was doing.”
She added: “This wearing Indian clothes at the airport and going with wet hair and all like it used to irritate me when other girls used to do it. But, I realised that my darkshaks know it’s me. It’s fine, now it doesn’t bother me anymore. They write also, ‘Sara ko copy kar rahi hai.’ Now I find it amusing. Now I’m like accha theek hai behn, kar le,”

Meanwhile, talking about her professional front, Sara’s Murder Mubarak has finally been released on Netflix. Apart from Sara Ali Khan, the murder mystery also features Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Aashim Gulati in prominent roles.
Her second project, Ae Watan Mere Watan is all set to be released on 21st March 2024. In the movie, Sara is playing the role of Usha, a woman who runs a clandestine radio channel during the British Raj.
Sara Ali Khan will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino. The film also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Konkona Sen Sharma, and is scheduled to be released on September 13.
