Last year, the Royal Challenger’s Bangalore lost the match it played against the Mumbai Indians. MI won the first match of their league with a huge margin of 46 runs. Their win automatically generated a huge meaning out of it since they played in front of the home crowd in Wankhede Stadium.
In the first league, it was under Rohit’s captaincy, where he scored a cracking 94 runs out of 54 balls. In his innings, he smashed a total of 10 fours and 5 sixes. MI collectively scored a total of 213 runs in 20 overs.
In return, RCB failed to scale the massive target. Their skipper, Virat Kohli put forth an exceptional performance of 92 runs in 62 balls. All the cricketing fans felt extremely bad for Virat as his performance deserved a victory for his team. His fans flooded the social media with overt amount of love and support for Virat as well as the team.
Out of the many who supported him, it was the gorgeous actress Raveena Tandon who took a part in it as well. She took to her Twitter handle and left a heart warming message for Virat. Raveena referred him as the “lone wolf” who fought solely for his team. Here’s to what she tweeted:
“My heart going out to @imVkohli like a lone warrior he battled on for his @RCBTweets team! Well played.”
