Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most talked-about couples in the country. A lot has been said and written about their relationship and the rumors of their wedding have been going around the media for a long time now.
Now, Ranbir Kapoor has finally confessed that the wedding is on the cards. The actor revealed that they were supposed to get married this year but their wedding was delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Recently, in an interview with movie journalist Rajeev Masand, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his personal life and also about the rumors of their wedding. In the interview, Ranbir also called Alia Bhatt his ‘girlfriend’ for the first time in the media. When he was asked about his wedding plans with the actress, he said:
“It would have already been sealed if the pandemic hadn’t hit our lives. But I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal soon in my life.”
He was also asked about how he spent time with Alia Bhatt during the pandemic, Ranbir was all praises for Alia Bhatt and called her an ‘overachiever’. He said:
“You know, my girlfriend Alia is a bit of an over achiever and she took every class there is from guitar to screenwriting,” said Ranbir and added: “I always feel like an underachiever next to her.”

In terms of work, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be sharing the screen space in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which is a trilogy. The movie is touted as a fantasy adventure and will see Ranbir Kapoor playing the character of Shiva, a person with special powers and Alia will play the role of Isha.
