Aman Gupta was born in 1982 in Delhi. He did his schooling at Delhi Public School, RK Puram and after completing his schooling at DPS, he enrolled in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi in 1998 for higher education.
He took admission into one of the most difficult ICAI’s CA programs in the year 1999 as his father suggested he become a Chartered Accountant. He was the youngest student to clear CA at his time.
He worked at a few places for a few years, but he was not getting a kick in the field of CA. He wanted to do something different but for a long time in his life, he was not having any idea.
Aman Gupta started his career as the Assistant Manager at Citi Bank. He worked there till August 2005. Later, he started a new business named Advanced Telemedia Pvt Ltd in September 2005 with his father, but the company couldn’t perform well. Then, he took admission into the Indian School of Business in an MBA (Finance and Strategy).
After completing his MBA, he worked for companies like KPMG as a Senior Management Consultant and HARMAN International as Director.
He then founded Imagine Marketing Services Private Limited (MSPL) in 2013 which is the Parent Company of boAt. Aman Gupta is now working as Co-Founder of boAt and also the Chief Marketing Officer of the company.
Aman Gupta’s wife is Priya Dagar and they have two daughters, Mia and Adaa Gupta.

In the year 2015, Aman Gupta along with his partner Sameer Mehta founded boAt. This company became a popular company in India in a matter of few months only.
