Preity Zinta
Preity Zinta is known for her acting skills in numerous movies. However, she took a break from movies and after that, she tried to come back with a self-produced debut movie which was Ishq in Paris, which proved to be a disaster in terms of box office collection. The movie flopped at the box office. This left the actress with a humungous loss. As per rumors, many of the crew members were not even paid. out of so many Bollywood celebrities, Salman Khan, one of Preity’s close friends and her co-actor in many movies, helped her out of this situation.
Jackie Shroff
In a previous interview, actor Jackie Shroff confessed that in 2008 he had to take a loan from a famous filmmaker and producer, Sajid Nadiadwala. When the time came to repay, the actor got stuck in a big problem and was unable to pay back. After many series of flops, Jackie was left in this troublesome situation. And once again Salman Khan helped him.
Shah Rukh Khan
King Of Bollywood and his wife Gauri Khan gave their everything while making the movie Ra. One, The Red Chillies production house gave a 150Cr budget for this film, but the movie brutally failed at the box office. But SRK made a strong comeback and pulled himself out of the situation through his astonishing performance in Don 2 and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Being one of the most popular Bollywood Celebrities also sometimes brings you tough times where you don’t get any work and you struggle in terms of finances. Govinda was a brilliant, successful, and hard-working actor during his time. But after a few years of being under the spotlight, he fell into a web of debt. He even had a phase where he had an emotional breakdown in front of the media. The Bhai of Bollywood again rescued someone in debt, Govinda and Salman did the movie Partner and everything went well after that.

The actress confessed that she was in short of money while making the Rajasthan Royals music video, Halla Bol. But things got better within a few months.
Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan admitted that during the new year of 2000 when the whole world was celebrating the new century, he was facing a tough time. He shared in a post,
“In the year 2000, when the entire world was celebrating the new century, I was celebrating my disastrous fortune. There were no films, no money, and no company.”
Big B’s company, Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) was established in 1996 and was in financial trouble, in 1999 ABCL had to approach the BIFR Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction) and they declared the company a sick company.
Big B was declared bankrupt, and all his properties were mortgaged. It was reported he was in debt of 90 Crore, despite being a big star he had no films to work in. When he told this to Yash Chopra, he got the offer of Mohabbatein, and later he was back on track with Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Raj Kapoor
The movie Mera Naam Joker received worldwide appreciation but brutally failed at the box office. Raj Kapoor went bankrupt for the loss and everything he owned was mortgaged, from the studio of the film to everything owned.
Rishi Kapoor revealed,
“We were in severe problems. Then he made a film called Bobby with a new boy and new girl, which was a huge risk after seeing the failure of Mera Naam Joker. But it became super hit and that is when his friends and my uncles insisted him to buy a house”
