Popular Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha is in limelight for quite a long time now. People are opposing this film on social media and campaigns are running on Twitter to Boycott the movie.However, the main lead Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are busy promoting the film on numerous platforms.

Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal recently revealed that this big-budgeted film named ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ was offered to his son for portraying a child character, But he turned down the offer.
Gippy Grewal’s son turned down the offer
The Punjabi singer started the controversy about the film by sharing this with the media. This new gossip is now becoming fiercely viral on social media.
Moreover, during an interview, Gippy Grewal revealed that both of his sons Gurfateh and Shinda Grewal were being cast in Aamir Khan’s film. Their auditions were also done. Everything was final but then the casting director ruined the whole game by saying something inappropriate.
Gippy said that the casting director asked for some videos of his son Gurfateh.
Later, things did not work out in favor as his son was asked to cut his hair in the initial part of the film. Gippy’s family did not agree to this. Not having a haircut and keeping the hair is a matter related to religious sentiments in the Sikh family.
So the makers did not cast Gippy’s son in the film.
Then the makers of Lal Singh Chadha also asked for a video of Grewal’s son Shinda for the film. Shinda played a small role in Gippy’s 2016 release ‘Ardaas’.
Gippy said
“When the makers came to me, they wanted to sign Shinda for Aamir’s childhood role in the film. The casting director was in touch with me for a long time. Apart from some videos of Shinda, he also ordered his videos while saying hello in Punjabi, which was his look test. At that time, I had no idea about the film’ but later things did not work out.”

Aamir Khan’s childhood character in ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ is played by Ahmed Umar. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Hindi remake of the Academy Award-winning 1994 release ‘Forrest Gump’. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 11.
