Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ is all set to release this year.
The trailer of the movie was out on June 15, 2022 and it created a buzz over the Internet. The film will be released on September 9, 2022.
Brahmastra is made on a huge budget and it took so many years to finally complete this masterpiece. The promotional activities are being discussed by the makers.
Shahrukh’s Cameo in Brahmastra
Just in case you don’t know , Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in much awaited film but for few minutes only. Yes, he is doing cameo in Brahmastra.
Even though his screen time is going to be less but It seems his character plays a huge role in taking the narrative ahead. As per reports, the makers initially had an idea of involving Shah Rukh Khan in the promotional work.
The team was wondering if it would be possible for Shah Rukh Khan to attend the promotional events of the movie. Shah Rukh Khan has not been seen in such events and it’s been quite a long time now.
Being one of the prominent celebrities of the country, his presence would definitely boost up the promotions like none other. But it seems Shah Rukh Khan simply denied the offer.
Brahmastra is being compared to global movies from the day it’s trailer was out , and the makers want maximum reach for the film. The sources said,
“However, he doesn’t think it’s a good idea for him to attend the promotions of Brahmastra. He felt that they have enough on their plate to excite the audiences, be it music, grandeur, presence of talented actors etc. Also, he wants to keep away from events and media glare for the time being.”
Shah Rukh Khan fans might have to wait till December or January 2023 before the release of ‘Pathaan’ in order to witness the star in lead role. Siddharth Anand is the director of the high budgeted action drama and Shah Rukh Khan wants to promote it.
Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji respect his opinions and have decided to promote the movie with main cast of Brahmastra. The trailer has got mixed reactions until now.
The movie also features Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan ,Nagarjuna and other actors as well.
