The first episode of one of the most popular talk shows ‘Koffee with Karan’ has become the talk of the town for numerous reasons. Featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranvir Singh, the episode is viewed by millions of people in a very short span of time.
From Alia’s revelations about her marriage with Ranbir Kapoor to Ranveer Singh mimicking every other Bollywood actor, the episode was fun to watch and also a perfect way to start the new season.
There were a lot of moments that made into headlines but one which caught a lot of limelight was Alia reading out aloud a text she received from Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of actor Saif Ali Khan and actress Sara Ali Khan’s younger brother.
Ibrahim had sent her an appreciating text praising her for the performance she gave in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
The 29-year-old actress said,
”Everyone in the industry is very sweet. But there is one person, Ibrahim Ali Khan, he is the cutest person I have ever met in my life. He sent me the most amazing message”
after saying this she read the message out loud. The cutest message sent Ranveer Singh and host Karan Johar into laughter.
”Had to remove the time to message you personally.
I cannot believe this is the same lady, I learn from every time I am on set, you’re just phenomenal. You’re so so good as Gangu and seeing you as Rani and then watching this film, it’s safe to say you mould yourself effortlessly, like water taking shape of its container. So so good! Best actress in this country,”

While some blacked out over Ibrahim Ali Khan’s cute text, other felt that Alia Bhatt’s reaction was not appropriate. Some called her ‘snob’ while some felt that she was ‘mocking’ Ibrahim on the show.
