Munawar Faruqui emerged victorious in the recently concluded seventeenth season of Bigg Boss, securing the coveted title after defeating strong contenders such as Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra, Arun Mashetty, and Abhishek Kumar. Hosted by Salman Khan, the roller coaster journey of the Mumbai-based stand-up comedian was filled with ups and downs, ultimately culminating in his triumph as the ultimate champion.
Declared the winner by Salman Khan in the final round, Munawar not only claimed the prestigious Bigg Boss 17 title but also walked away with a substantial prize – INR 50 lakhs and a brand-new Hyundai Creta car.
Despite facing complexities in the show, including serious allegations from wildcard contestant Ayesha Khan regarding his personal life, Munawar’s resilience and acceptance of the accusations contributed to his success.
Abhishek Kumar, initially labeled as the most aggressive contestant of the season, secured the first runner-up position.
Despite facing mid-season elimination due to physical violence, he was later given a second chance to compete. Mannara Chopra clinched the second runner-up position, while popular TV actress Ankita Lokhande and YouTuber Arun Mashetty secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
