Surprisingly, Karan makes his girlfriend marry Raj and later even ditches Priya. Akshaye’s character gradually turns negative adding more spice to the storyline. The movie made Akshaye Khanna win the Actor in the Best Negative Role award at IIFA.
Dil Chahta Hai
One of the most popular movies of all time that revolves around 3 friends who are poles apart. One is ambitious, the other is romanticizing his life and the third one is the most mature and sorted one.

It was Sridevi’s last film and she her performance was as astonishing as ever. But to make the movie remarkable, there were other heroes like Nawaz and Akshaye Khanna. The film features Sridevi, who sets out to avenge her stepdaughter’s rape. From playing a criminal to playing a cop, this man has justified every role that he has played. In this movie, he played a lawyer who fights for a legit cause. Akshaye certainly does not consider the budget of the film but the content and that’s what matters to fans and the audience at this time.

This movie was the first suspense thriller in Bollywood. Every 20 mins, there was a new twist that leads to a change in the storyline. Akshaye’s character was the only one that went through multiple changes in the film.
From being a doting brother, and a loving boyfriend to someone who plots his brother’s death and fakes his relationship with Bipasha who is his girlfriend, Akshaye’s transformation in the film will make you bite your nails till the end.
Just as expected, the movie got a humungous opening and was a blockbuster.
