2. Ranjhanaa:
Ranjhanaa is one of the most loved movies of Bollywood. The storyline of the movie is a beautiful love triangle of a Muslim woman with two Hindu men. As absurd as it may sound but the movie was banned in Pakistan as they found Sonam Kapoor’s character too ridiculous for a Muslim woman.
3. Tere Bin Laden:
The 2010 Bollywood comedy movie starring Pakistani actor Ali Zafar in the lead role was also banned in Pakistan because of the storyline revolving around the terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Well, everyone is aware of how Pakistan helped Osama Bin Laden during the 9/11 attacks. The movie revolved around the assassination of Osama Bin Laden by the US Covert mission under Barack Obama.
4. Bangistan:
The comedy movie, Ritesh Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat was based on the lives of suicide bombers. The movie was banned in Pakistan.
5. Udta Punjab:
Udta Punjab showed a clear picture of the addiction among teenagers in Punjab. It also showed also raised several controversies regarding the resell and purchase of cocaine. The movie was banned in Punjab and Pakistan.
6. Neerja:
The biopic of air hostess, Neerja Bhanot was also banned from screening in Pakistan. Neerja Bhanot saved the air passengers during a terrorist hijack.
7. Dishoom:
John Abraham and Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom was a hit in Indian cinemas, however, the movie was banned in Pakistan because of its storyline. The movie showed how an Indian batsman is kidnapped in the middle east. The movie portrayed Pakistan in a negative light and as a result, it was banned in Pakistan.
8. Phantom:
Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Phantom was also banned in Pakistan after a Pakistani terrorist named Hafiz Saeed disapproved of the movie. Saeed also refused to have any relation with the past terror attacks in India
9. Agent Vinod:
Saif Ali Khan starrer Agent Vinod flopped at the Indian box office. The movie was also banned in Pakistan as it showed terrorists planning to drop a nuclear bomb in India’s national capital.
10. Baby:
Akshay Kumar’s Baby received an exceptional response from the Indian fans, however, the movie was banned in Pakistan as it showed the arrest of a Pakistani terrorist.
