Yaman Dev Sharma ordered a Veg Whopper and fries from Burger King through Zomato. Instead of a satisfying meal, he was horrified to find that the burger was covered in mold. Sharma took to social media to express his frustration, tagging both Zomato and Burger King in his post:
“Ordered from Burger King via Zomato. After finishing the fries, I opened the burger (Veg Whopper) and discovered that they have introduced a new flavor: moldy bread. @zomato @burgerkingindia”

In light of the uproar, both Zomato and Burger King acknowledged the incident and reached out to the customer. Zomato responded with:
“This is very shocking. We are sorry you had to go through this. We will investigate it. In the meantime, a member of our team will definitely call you. Please DM us your registered contact number.”
