Celebrating 17 Years of Taare Zameen Par
As the film marked its 17th anniversary, actress Tisca Chopra, who played Ishaan’s mother, shared a nostalgic video on Instagram featuring Darsheel Safary, who played Ishaan. In a humorous nod to the film’s theme, Tisca recreated a playful moment with Darsheel, testing him with notes offering home-cooked meals versus junk food. Although he chose junk food, the clip ended with him enjoying a traditional meal, prompting Tisca to quip, “Still can’t read,” referencing Ishaan’s challenges in the film.
