The Dil-Luminati Tour by global sensation Diljit Dosanjh has been the talk of the town. The Punjabi singer and actor has been performing in major cities across India, with all his concerts sold out. Known for his immense fan base, particularly among women, his concerts often showcase fans passionately cheering for their idol.
However, an incident from Diljit’s Bengaluru concert recently went viral. A female attendee shared her disappointment after her friends allegedly criticized her for wearing a short dress.
The Viral Video
A video featuring Instagram user Muskan Madaan surfaced online, in which she expressed her dismay over the remarks made by her so-called friends. She revealed that these individuals, whom she once trusted, made negative comments about her outfit behind her back.
In the video, Muskan recounted wearing a stylish black dress with intricate designs to the concert. Sharing her experience, she captioned the post:
“I still couldn’t believe I called them friends.”
The Backlash and Support Online
Muskan’s video sparked a heated discussion on social media. While some netizens suggested she should have addressed the issue privately, others commended her for speaking up.
One user remarked:
“This could have been a one-on-one conversation. Sadly, it is easier to go vocal online than speak up directly. Don’t take me wrong, I’m with you. What you felt is shit. C**p behavior. But we need to be able to resolve issues in person… no?”
Madaan replied to it by saying,
“Do you think I would want such people around me in future, I don’t want to become Bob the Builder and fix their mentality they did it once they will do it again no matter how much I would have talked in person they are kind of people to never accept they did something wrong, addressed it here because I wanted to share my experience.”
Another commenter supported her, stating:
“This needs to be spoken about so people learn not to behave like this. The world is evolving, but some mindsets remain stuck in the past.”
When asked if her friends had apologized, Muskan replied:
“No, none of them reached out or admitted their wrongdoing.”
