Well-known singer Lucky Ali turned 64 on September 19. The singer, who has been away from Bollywood for several years, had once revealed what forced him to leave this Industry

Popular singer Lucky Ali turned 64 on Monday, September 19.  It can be said that he had an unusual career in the Bollywood music industry. Compared to other popular singers and composers, Lucky Ali had a circumferential relationship with film music.

In a country where music is worshiped and the lives of so many people change when they achieve success in this Music industry, Lucky left everyone astonished by bidding goodbye to Bollywood years ago at a time when his fame was rapidly increasing, and he was at the peak of his career.

In a previous interview, Lucky revealed the reason for leaving.

Born to a superstar actor-filmmaker Mehmood, Lucky Ali made his debut in Indian music quite late. He was 37 years old when his debut album Sunoh was released in 1996. He eventually made his space in Bollywood and won the hearts of millions of people around the globe with two hit tracks in the 2000 movie Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai.

He even featured in films like Kaante and Sur.

Having sung masterpieces in several films over the next decade, Lucky distanced himself from Bollywood after Tamasha (2015).

In a 2017 interview with Pollywood Box Office, the singer-actor was asked why he decided to leave Bollywood, and he replied,

Is jagah mein badtameezi bahut hai.

(This place has a lot of disrespect). Bollywood has changed. The movies which are being made these days are lacking inspiration and I think there is nothing to learn from such movies.”

The singer further said that he did not like the idea of films being made in the industry these days and that’s why he left.

“This generation’s movies are leaving a bad impact on society. People are getting violent as they are inspired by what is being showcased in the movies. I believe less patience and more greediness is being promoted through movies,”

he stated. At the beginning of 2022, Lucky Ali returned to mainstream music with his track Intezaar, which he made in collaboration with composer Mikey McCleary. He was also featured in a film called Murder at Teesri Manzil 302, which was released last year. However, the film had been shot in 2008-09 and had been stuck in developmental hell since. Presently, Lucky lives in Goa and focuses on his music.
