A woman had an unexpected experience after purchasing old luggage being sold at a discounted price at the airport. She bought the bag from London Airport for just £80 (approximately ₹8,700). When she opened it, she found several private belongings inside.
According to a video shared by the Facebook page LADbible a few months ago, a woman, named Becky, revealed that she bought old, unclaimed luggage from Heathrow Airport.
Becky, who goes by @beckysbazaar on Instagram, regularly posts about how to buy and resell clothes and other items at low prices. In this particular video, she mentioned buying lost luggage from Heathrow.
At Heathrow Airport, unclaimed luggage is typically auctioned after remaining in storage for several months.
Becky ended up buying a suitcase that had been lost and later sold. The suitcase was from the Delsey brand, which is priced at £275 (around ₹30,000) online. However, when she opened the bag, she found several private items, including undergarments, makeup products, hygiene products like sanitary pads, and various clothing items. Becky noted that the undergarments and clothing were too large for her to use, but she kept some of the other items for personal use.
