A woman has alleged that a man, along with a woman, harassed her while she was with her husband and brother-in-law outside Garden Galleria Mall in Noida on Monday night. The incident was captured in a video that has since gone viral.
In the video, the woman describes how the man inquired about her “rate” while she stood outside the mall. This led to a confrontation between the two groups, prompting police intervention. However, no formal complaints were filed by either party.
In her video statement, the woman recounts the incident and questions the justice system under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
“A man asked my rate while I was with my husband and brother-in-law. The woman with him threatened us, claiming her father and maternal uncle are DSPs. I told her that doesn’t matter; the man asked my rate, which would anger any husband and brother-in-law. When they confronted him, she threatened to falsely implicate us,”
she said.

She also pointed out that while the couple sat inside with the police, she and her family were denied entry and were not being heard by the authorities.
According to reports, all individuals involved are from Gaur City. The police noted that both parties chose not to file written complaints, preferring to resolve the issue among themselves. The woman accompanying the accused claimed the woman’s husband had grabbed her hand while dancing, which led to the altercation.
On Tuesday, the woman released another video stating that the matter had been settled and thanked the Noida police for their prompt action.
