A video showcasing Diwali celebrations at the EY Gurugram office has gone viral on social media, following an Instagram post by employee CA Sneha Chanchlani. The clip captures employees dressed in traditional attire, enjoying the festivities.
In the video, a fashion show features employees walking a red carpet in their best ethnic outfits, while their colleagues cheer them on. The post, captioned “Diwali Celebrations at EY Gurgaon,” has already reached over a million views on Instagram.

However, the video sparked a controversy as some social media users connected it with a tragic incident involving a former EY employee. This followed the death of Anna Sebastian Perayil in September, which her family attributed to “excessive” work pressure. In response, EY India Chairman Rajiv Memani extended his condolences but disputed the claims.
