A viral video from the press meet showcases SRK teasing Karan about his lack of rehearsals for the event. “Karan told me he won’t rehearse for hosting and will just do it on Zoom,” joked Shah Rukh.
He added, “He said, ‘Bhai, I’ll manage it quickly on Zoom. I host so many events anyway.'”
Shah Rukh didn’t stop there and humorously urged Karan to focus on filmmaking instead of hosting so frequently.
“Picture bhi toh bana mere bhai. Tu kitna host karega (Make films too. How much more will you host)?” he said. Reacting to King Khan’s statement, Karan Johar laughed and admitted, “I was thinking the same when Siddhant (Chaturvedi) said the same thing. I was like, ‘This is sounding so wrong on all levels for a filmmaker’. I should be making more movies. That is exactly what I should be doing.”
