Salman Khan is navigating a profoundly challenging time after the tragic loss of his close friend, Baba Siddique, who was murdered just a week ago. Compounding his distress, the actor has also been targeted with death threats from the Bishnoi Gang, with some even implicating him in Siddique’s death. Despite his emotional turmoil, Salman returned to host Bigg Boss 18, where his pain was evident in his demeanor and words.
While interacting with contestant Shilpa Shirodkar, who had stopped eating after a disagreement with Avinash Mishra, Salman attempted to understand her feelings.
Shilpa became emotional as Salman referenced her daughter, explaining how one would feel if their child expressed anger over food. Shilpa clarified that her frustration was directed at Avinash’s attitude, prompting Salman to emphasize the importance of not letting emotions dictate relationships, saying,
“Feeling se koi rishta aapka iss ghar mein hona hi nahi chahiye.”
Later, during the same conversation, Salman candidly shared his reluctance about returning as the host. He admitted,
“Aaj ki meri yeh feeling hai ki mujhe aaj yahan pe aana hi nahi chahiye tha. Nahi aana tha mujhe yahan par. But yeh ek commitment hai, toh isliye main yahan pe aaya hoon. Ek mera kaam hai, kaam karne aaya hoon. Mujhe kisi se na milna, mujhe aap logo se bhi nahi milna. But I’m bound to do this.”
In a subsequent moment, Salman got into a heated exchange with contestant Aftreen Khan. Frustrated, he remarked, “Yaar, qasam khuda ki what all I am going through in my life, and I have to come and handle this.”
For those unaware, Salman shared a special bond with Baba Siddique and his family. Reports suggest that he was filming for Bigg Boss 18 when he abruptly halted to rush to the hospital upon learning of Siddique’s passing. A viral video captured him in shock, visibly numb as he sat in the front passenger seat.
Despite these trying times, Salman Khan is demonstrating remarkable strength by continuing to fulfill his professional commitments.
