After clinching the T20 World Cup 2024 title, the team arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning, where they are set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi before heading to Mumbai for a celebratory open bus parade.
After a historic victory against South Africa in the T20 World Cup final at Kensington Oval in Barbados, the Indian team touched down in Delhi. Fans thronged IGI Airport to welcome the champions. The players then checked in at the ITC Maurya Hotel for a grand celebration.

Post their brief rest at ITC Maurya, the team will meet Prime Minister Modi. The festivities will continue in Mumbai with an open bus parade at Marine Drive in the evening, culminating at Wankhede Stadium. Here, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will distribute a Rs 125 crore prize to the team and support staff.
