In recent days, Deepika has become the subject of online discussions due to her disclosure that she had been on dates with other men even after meeting Ranveer Singh. The couple also emphasized that they weren’t in a relationship at that time.
However, last night, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made their first public appearance following the controversy. They were captured by paparazzi as they left the Jio World Plaza launch event. Affectionately known as DeepVeer by their fans, the couple was seen coordinating in black attire at the star-studded occasion. Deepika appeared to have changed her outfit, opting for a black, form-fitting dress with thin straps.
She had previously been photographed entering the venue in a Louis Vuitton ensemble. For this event, she wore a grey off-shoulder dress from the luxury brand’s Fall 2023 collection and paired it with long black boots.
In the meantime, Ranveer exuded a stylish and bold look, sporting a black blazer paired with matching pants, opting to go shirtless for the occasion.

The Deepika-Ranveer KWK Episode Controversy: When They Made Headlines
Controversy sparked when Deepika hinted at the idea of an open relationship with Ranveer prior to their engagement, sparking widespread speculation. Additionally, Ranveer came under scrutiny for his response to Deepika’s revelation that she couldn’t recall who she was dating when they first met.
Deepika’s words were,
“I wanted to remain single for a while because I had experienced challenging relationships. I was going through a phase where I decided, ‘I just don’t want to be tied down, don’t want to be in a committed relationship.’ And I had my share of fun! Then he entered my life, so I didn’t commit until he proposed to me. There was no concrete ‘commitment’ as such. Even though, technically, we could have seen other people, we just kept gravitating back towards each other.”
This led to a considerable amount of online trolling, with some suggesting that she had openly admitted to being in an open relationship, and that the couple’s status was more of a ‘situationship.’
