Bollywood actress Kiara Advani recently found herself at the center of online criticism after an old video surfaced, where she forgot to mention Kerala as one of South India’s states during a quiz. Known for her roles in films like Kabir Singh, Shershaah, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara’s lapse in geography knowledge has sparked mockery from netizens.
The incident occurred during her appearance on Rana Daggubati’s show No 1 Yaari, where Ram Charan joined her. When asked to name the states and languages of South India, Kiara correctly mentioned Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. However, she struggled to recall Kerala, despite hints from Ram Charan, who asked her where Malayalam is spoken. Kiara eventually admitted she was going to say Kerala, but the moment still led to widespread trolling.
Netizens were quick to express their disappointment, with one user commenting, “It’s embarrassing for an Indian to not know our own states and languages.” Others criticized her for not knowing the basic geography of the country, calling it “pathetic” and “disappointing.”

This is not the first time Kiara has faced online backlash. Earlier this year, she was trolled for adopting a “fake accent” during her appearance at Cannes 2024, where her fashion choices and speech received mixed reactions from the public.
Now why is kiara faking that accent????
