In a recent interview with The Week, Kareena Kapoor Khan candidly shared insights into her marriage with fellow actor Saif Ali Khan. With a touch of humor, she remarked that her husband occasionally takes her “for granted.”
Kareena discussed the challenges of balancing her professional and personal life, highlighting the significance of family time.
“It’s very tough being married to an actor,”
she admitted. “
Sometimes, he’s asleep when I leave for work. Even though we live in the same house, we’re often trying to carve out time for our kids. Two actors in one household can be quite a juggle.”
Despite these challenges, the Jab We Met star feels her marriage has been transformative.
“I’ve changed for the better,” she noted, emphasizing Saif’s role in keeping her grounded when she feels overwhelmed. “He grounds me when I’m going a little crazy.”
The couple frequently turns to each other for advice, though Kareena joked about its effectiveness.
“I always ask him for advice, and he does the same. I don’t know if he actually takes my advice. I’m critical of his films. He hasn’t seen Crew yet, can you believe it? He’s been busy shooting. But I make it a point to watch all his films. So, yes, in that sense, he has taken me for granted this time.”
Kareena’s latest film, Crew, co-starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon, was her most recent release. She will next appear in Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, set to release on November 1. Prior to that, she will feature in The Buckingham Murders, scheduled for release on September 13. Meanwhile, Saif is preparing for his Tollywood debut in the Telugu film Devara: Part 1.
