A video circulating on social media shows Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf visibly angry at a fan who asked for a photo. The incident occurred on a sidewalk, where Rauf is seen charging at the fan before being restrained by bystanders and his wife, who was with him at the time.
In the video, captured by a passerby, Haris Rauf appears to have been provoked by something the fan said after being denied a photo.
The fast bowler loses his temper, attempting to confront the fan, who tries to explain that he only wanted a picture. Despite being held back, Rauf continues to hurl expletives at the fan, shouting,
“How can you abuse my father?” (gaali baap ko de raha hai) and accusing him of being Indian (“Indian hi hai yeh”).
The fan then clarifies he is from Pakistan, but Rauf remains furious, shouting,
“This is your situation despite being from Pakistan?” (Pakistan se hi fir bhi yeh teri haalat hai).

Pakistan’s T20 World Cup campaign ended poorly, with the team failing to progress beyond the group stages after losing to the USA and India. The final league game against Ireland was abandoned due to rain. This poor performance has led to significant criticism from fans and former cricketers, with calls for major changes within the team. Additionally, leaked locker room comments from newly appointed coach Gary Kirsten about the team’s lack of unity have further compounded the team’s troubles.
