A viral moment between superstar Diljit Dosanjh and a fan named Saloni from Ahmedabad has captured the hearts of fans across India. The excitement began when Saloni, a proud Gujarati girl, made a video directly addressing the Punjabi singer. She started the video with a heartfelt message:
“This message is only for Diljit Dosanjh. You can listen if you want. Jai Shri Krishna, Diljit Bhai!”
In the video, Saloni explained how, despite being a Gujarati, she’s an enormous fan of Diljit. She listens to his songs from morning to night, referencing hits like Panj Tara, Theka, Tera Ni, Mai, Lover, and more. She added a special request for two concert tickets to Diljit’s show but emphasized she wasn’t asking for them for free – she was happy to pay.
“My parents believe you and I are friends because you once added back my story,” Saloni shared with a laugh. “They’re saying, ‘Ask Diljit for tickets, he’ll give them to you!’ So, here I am, trying. You can even charge 100-200 rupees extra!”

To everyone’s surprise, Diljit himself replied! His response was filled with warmth and humor, saying:
“Jai Shri Krishna, Saloni! Ho gayi samajh tickets. Sahi bolte hain aapke parents. Maa-baap ki baat suna karo! Meri taraf se sabko bohot saara pyaar!“
His reply received over 47K likes, and that wasn’t all – Diljit added her story back to his own Instagram, writing “Jai Shree Krishna”.
Fans were quick to point out how Diljit’s name truly reflects his nature – Dil Jeet Lia (He wins hearts).
