Earlier this year, during Arti Singh’s wedding, Govinda and Krushna Abhishek reconciled, becoming the talk of the town. However, Govinda’s wife, Sunita, was notably absent. For those unaware, Govinda and Sunita had issues with Krushna and Kashmera for various reasons. In a recent interview, Sunita shed light on her current relationship with them.
Sunita Ahuja on Not Joining ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ Due to Krushna-Kashmera
In a podcast, Timeout With Ankit, Sunita Ahuja was suggested as a strong competitor to Archana Puran Singh on The Great Indian Kapil Show. She revealed that she wouldn’t be part of the show because no one invites her. Even Kapil joked about replacing Archana with Sunita. She further stated she would have loved to be on the show if Krushna and Kashmera were not involved. Sunita emphasized her strained relationship with them, saying:
“Arrey rakhte hee nahi hai koi. Pata hai Kapil Sharma ne bola hai mujhe, ‘Inko (Archana) hata ke na aap ko bithana chahiye’. Maine kaha, ‘Hata toh kam se kam.'”

Sunita mentioned that she would consider joining the show if Krushna was not a part of it. She shared that her life’s principle prevents her from forgiving those who have wronged her. She added that if an issue arises and she isn’t at fault, she would never look at the person again. In her words:
“See, I will tell you one thing, main jhooth nahi bolungi, Krushna-Kashmera se mera nahi jamta hai… toh show karti main, agar woh log nahi hote. But he is with Kapil. Otherwise, I would have loved to do it. Mere life ka principle hai ki main agar ek baar kisi ko chhod doon na, phir agar bhagwan bhi mere paas aayega toh main uss insaan ko maaf nahi kar sakti. If it is not my fault and people misbehave, phir main uski shakal bhi nahi dekhti.”
Kashmera and Krushna on Sunita Ahuja Missing Arti Singh’s Wedding
While Govinda and his son Yashvardhan attended Arti Singh’s wedding, Sunita did not. When questioned about Sunita’s absence, Kashmera expressed hope for reconciliation. Krushna, in an interview, mentioned that he wished his aunt and her daughter had attended the wedding. He expressed his desire to visit their home to resolve their differences and was ready to accept his aunt’s scolding, emphasizing that it was time to mend their relationship.
The Root of Govinda and Krushna’s Rift
The rift between Govinda and Krushna is attributed to several incidents, beginning with Krushna’s ‘mama rakha hai’ comment and worsening when Sunita labeled Kashmera a ‘bad daughter-in-law’. Govinda disclosed in an interview that he had tried visiting Krushna and Kashmera’s twins four times but was not allowed entry. Despite this, Krushna and Kashmera falsely claimed that Govinda never visited their children.
