Recently, Laughter Chef contestants Nia Sharma, Jannat Zubair, and Reem Shaikh mocked Sharmin’s ‘expressionless’ acting in a humorous Instagram post.

On June 12, 2024, Nia Sharma shared a collaborative Instagram post with Reem Shaikh and Jannat Zubair, where they mimicked Sharmin Segal’s acting. The trio recreated Alamzeb’s iconic dialogue, “Ek baar dekh lijiye, deewana bana lijiye,” while maintaining a poker face, imitating Sharmin’s style. Nia captioned the video: “

In the video, Nia wore a yellow outfit inspired by Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga,’ while Reem dressed as ‘Poo’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ in a pink top and beige skirt. Jannat channeled her inner Zeenat Aman in a golden gown inspired by ‘Laila Main Laila.’
The video quickly went viral, even making its way to Reddit. One user humorously commented, “Sorry, Nia, Jannat, and Reem, but you aren’t as wooden as it has to be,” while another wrote, “That’s so mean, do it again.”
