Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, known for his electrifying performances and global appeal, captivated the audience in Chandigarh on Saturday as part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour. The event was marked by a heartfelt tribute to both actor Allu Arjun and newly crowned chess champion Gukesh Dommaraju.
Diljit’s concert, a highlight of his highly successful India tour, became a talking point when the singer recreated iconic moments from Allu Arjun’s Pushpa franchise. Viral videos from the event show Diljit mimicking the famous dialogue “Jhukega nahi” (I won’t bow), much to the delight of the audience. Adding a touch of humor, he quipped, “Saala nahi jhukega toh kya jija jhuk jayega,” taking a playful dig at obstacles faced during his shows.
The singer also used the occasion to honor Gukesh D, who recently made history by becoming the youngest-ever World Chess Champion. In a moving gesture, Diljit dedicated the entire performance to Gukesh’s remarkable achievement.

“Today’s show is dedicated to world chess champion Gukesh. Do you know why it is dedicated to him? Because whatever you think in life, he has already thought about becoming a world champion. And he became that. Problems are there, I face them daily,” he said.
