Babar Azam has recently faced a challenging phase in international cricket. The right-handed batsman struggled to make a significant impact during Pakistan’s home Tests against Bangladesh, the 2023 ODI World Cup in India, and the 2024 T20 World Cup. In 4 innings, Babar managed just 64 runs during the home Tests, where Pakistan suffered their first-ever series defeat to Bangladesh.
However, a video from one of Babar’s latest ad shoots has gone viral on social media. In the footage, the white-ball captain of Pakistan is seen endorsing a tire brand while sitting atop a new motorcycle.
The ad begins with Babar riding the bike, with his jersey number “56” displayed prominently in the background. Babar, wearing a blazer labeled “King Babar,” makes a grand entrance in the commercial.
Babar Azam, often compared to Virat Kohli, now finds himself in a similar situation to the Indian cricketer as both endorse tyre brands. While Kohli has long represented MRF, Babar has been associated with Panther Tyres, a company based in Lahore.

Earlier this year, Panther Tyres released a promotional video featuring Babar Azam to boost their YouTube channel. Apart from Babar and Virat, India’s Rohit Sharma has also been linked to a tyre brand, Ceat, having previously been connected to MRF.
