Pakistan is under protests against the brutal rape and murder of a 8-year-old girl in Kasur, Pakistan. The incident has taken everyone by shock.

Pakistan’s news anchor with Channel Samaa Tv, Kiran Naz, hosted a news bulletin with her daughter in her lap in order to protest against the brutual rape.

With her daughter in her lap, she started hosting the news by saying,

“Today I’m not Kiran Naz. Today, I’m a mother. This is why I am sitting here with my daughter.”

In her 1.50 minutes long monologue she is seen protesting against the rape culture. She says,

“It is true when they say that the smallest coffins are the heaviest and entire Pakistan is burdened by the weight of her coffin.”

The brutal rape and murder of a 8-year-old has triggered violent protests in Kasur, located in Punjab province that had left two people dead in the police firing on Wednesday.

A 8-year-old girl was abducted on her way back home from her tuition classes, while her parents were on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, for the long life of their daughter. The mystery man who kidnapped her was caught on CCTV footage taking the 8-year-old girl with him. Her family circulated the CCTV footage on social media that showed her with an unidentified man.

According to the reports, the 8-year-old girl was raped multiple times before being brutally strangled to death.

In the news reports, Kiran Naz highlighted the sad irony that while the parents of the 8-year-old girl were praying for their daughter’s long life, someone was brutally killing her, while the parents of that small little girl were buying toys for her, a monster was dumping her dead body in the trash. She said,

“This is not just a child’s rape and murder. This is the entire society’s murder.”

The father of that 8-year-old girl after returning from his trip announced that he will not bury the body of his daughter till the justice is done.

If reports are to be believed, this was not the first time when an incident like this has happened in Kasur, 11 such cases happened in a span of 1 year before the rape and murder of this girl.

Kiran Naz. ends the bulletin by saying,

“The truth is that the girl does not need your justice. She will get justice by her God on Judgement Day when she questions her death and asks her fault.”
