Bollywood, off late, has been providing us with a few brilliant stories with actors that are making us go week in our knees. Vicky Kaushal is one from that genre of actors. The dimpled actor with an extremely simple approach in life follows a motto of delivering good roles with appropriate requirements.
The effortless actor simply took our hearts and kept it with himself forever with his unforgettable performance in his debut film Masaan.
Soon after the actor started getting offers and since then he has made it a point to choose and go for off-beat movies wherein he will be able to explore his talent to the full extent. The man who is slowly moving up the ladder with his beautiful portrayals has shocked fans all over with his acute decisiveness and concentration. It is known that the fellow actor does in-depth research behind every film and role to bring out the essence in the best possible way.
The Manmarziyaan starring recently was brought out to light when a fellow fan pointed out the in-depth ness the actor goes into the psyche of the character being played.
The Twitterati bought to light how the actor might have actually got cut while shooting for his role as Sanju for Manmarziyaan. The fan tweeted, “Did @vickykaushal09 cut his cheek with the saucepan while shooting this scene cuz it does bounce off & hit exactly where he’s bleeding, @anuragkashyap72? If yes, then this is some Leonardo-Dicaprio-cutting-his-hand-in-Django-Unchained-&-not-breaking-character-levels-of-acting,”

Soon after Vicky confirmed that this indeed was the situation and he was glad that the director did not yell cut at the moment. The reel shows the actual version of the psyche of the character played very clearly. He also added that he did not realise this until it was late. The actor tweeted,
I didn't realise it while doing the scene, but glad that @anuragkashyap72 didn't say "cut". 🙂 https://t.co/JRMYBf6gYl

This, however, is not the first time a Bollywood actor got hurt while shooting for a role. This happens way too often while shooting any action sequence that the script demands. However, it does go on to show how much a performer has to be committed to the art to produce brilliance.
