Captain of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is an inspiration of millions of youngsters, not just in India but also in other parts of the world as well.

Virat Kohli is the favorite sports person of every other Indian right now, everyone loves watching him hitting sixes and fours. His persona, his attitude on the field is something which makes everyone go crazy for him. But ever wondered, who is the favorite sport person of Virat Kohli?

No, he is not Sachin Tendulkar, although our Indian skipper is a big fan of him and literally treat him as a god but he isn’t his favorite player.

No his favorite player isn’t Lionel Messi or Christiano Ronaldo either, as he is a big football fan.

The favorite player of our Indian captain is none other than Roger Federer.

Recently, Virat Kohli was asked who is his favorite player at an event, he said:
“Roger Federer is my ultimate favourite. When he plays it’s so beautiful. He has a family now, priorities set, he takes time out of the game without worrying about opinions and criticism of people and then he comes in and wins Grand Slams at 36, he is defying all the logic and that’s something I totally love.”

Virat added:
“I hate following the norm and he is someone who is breaking barriers on a daily basis and I have huge respect for him.”

Virat Kohli is currently on rest period alongwith 5 big players of Indian cricket team, namely: MS Dhoni, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav, while Indian cricket team is currently playing for Nidahas Trophy 2018 in Sri Lanka.

Taking about this break he said:
“Physically I had a few niggles, I am just getting over those. The workload has started to disagree with me a little bit. I have to be very careful about how I go forward with my body, my mind, my cricket. Times like these are very, very important. I am totally enjoying it; I do not even have an inch of me missing out on anything because my body really needed this.”

Virat Kohli also shared his other side which is not known to the world, he said:
“I can sit and not move for hours. For all the energy that I may show on the field, when I get time at home, I can be a total vegetable. I can be very annoying because I do not move at all.”

Well, but he is very active on the ground and we just love him for that.
