Actress Tripti Dimri has recently faced criticism from event organizers in Jaipur, who accused her of skipping an event despite reportedly charging Rs 5.5 lakhs for her appearance. In response, Tripti’s team issued an official statement denying any agreement or commitment to attend the event.
The controversy began when the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO claimed that Tripti was paid Rs 5 lakhs to participate but did not show up. However, her spokesperson clarified, stating,
”
During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
At the FICCI FLO event, frustration over Tripti’s absence led one organizer to vandalize a poster of the actress, sparking criticism about her time management and celebrity status. Some attendees even called for a boycott of her films in Jaipur.
Apparently Tripti was supposed to attend an event in Jaipur which she skipped.
