Virat Kohli is always making headlines for either his amazing performances or for slaying it on social media. However, this time captain Kohli has found himself in trouble and has disappointed his fans and cricket lovers in India.
Recently, a video of his newly launched is being circulated on social media and he is getting slammed for his statement for a fan who tells Virat that he is just an overrated batsman and there’s nothing special in his batting.
The fan says-
“Overrated batsman and personally I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians.”
In the video, Virat is seen replying to this fan, however, he has found himself in trouble with his reply. Virat suggests him to leave the country if he can’t like domestic cricketers. He said:
“Okay, I don’t think you should live in India then. You should go and live somewhere else, no? Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.”
The video has now gone viral and is all over the social media. Here, have a look at the video :

His statement has left everyone disappointed and twitterati are slamming him left and right for his statement. Here, have a look at how twitterati are reacting to his statement :
The latest blabbering by @imVkohli shouldn't be taken too seriously.
In the month of November, he tends to go off the rails.
This is nothing compared to what he said 2 years ago. ???????????? pic.twitter.com/WqElQmrohj

Virat Kohli says don't live in India if you love batsmen from other countries.
Truly small-minded statement from a truly big cricketer. Shameful

The sense of nationalism creates more hate for other countries than love for your own nation.
You don't really need to hate others to feel good about what you have. We can love everything we appreciate and still live in harmony with each other.@imVkohli

I don’t blame @imVkohli . He is victim of poison spread by Modi and gang in this country.

How about @imVkohli quitting cricket, the game of the English, and start playing Hockey ???? our National game or Kabaddi?
In his own words — "those who prefer English games should not live in India” .. No? "Okay, you should go and live somewhere else, no?"https://t.co/f3Mk8wcqJ2

Virat Kohli's statement is a reflection of the bubble that most famous people either slip into or are forced into. The voices within it are frequently those that they wish to hear. It is a comfortable bubble and that is why famous people must try hard to prevent it from forming

@imVkohli wears PUMA endorses Swiss watches, marries in Italy and teaches us lessons of enjoying domestic particulars. He's slammed for his hypocrisy.

When is @imVkohli joining the BJP or Shiv Sena? What an idiot. The ego this man has is quite astounding. Any other country, his brand value would go to zero after this but this will likely boost his popularity among chauvinist blowhards. https://t.co/7B9EW8tWsZ

Dear Virat Kohli, I love Javed Miandad. You please keep your cricket patriotism to yourself. And to your advertisement contracts.

#ViratKohli Sachin, as we know, is a great fan of Sir Don. Should he also leave India as per the ADVICE of Kohli?
Kohli, you are a great indian batsman who could not find a place in our vast country INDIA to get married. Why? Where is your love for INDIA?
— Asim Moulik (@asim_moulik) November 8, 2018
.@imVkohli Do you know that Brian Lara loves to visit USA and why? Because here, nobody knows him & he can walk everywhere like anybody. Same to you also — except for South Asians, you will be unnoticed. Be humble and don't talk too much. Mouth shut! #Kohli

Married in a foreign country
Supports foreign countries in other sports
Plays a sport originating from a foreign country instead of playing kabaddi
Talks in a foreign language many times
Wears foreign dresses
Is he in his right mind speaking those words now?

— Rohit Raushan (@raushanrhit) November 7, 2018
Lol this is ridiculous! Did he not get married in another country. Indian venues not good enough for him? Wonder when will this fake patriotism of celebrities end
— Gunns (@Guns_16) November 7, 2018
He shouldn't be fanboying over Amir then by this logic.
