HT also reported that high class Punjabi Bhangra and Gidda dancers were seen entreating the heritage resort in Tuscany. The venue is just a little over four hours south of Milan, in a historic property called Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany, South Italy.
Times Now were one of the first few media houses that reported about Virat and Anushka’s wedding and a recent report published on their website says that the pre-wedding functions have already begun at the resort, which is under a heavy security cover.
The venue was actually a 14th century village, which was renovated for eight years and turned into one of the most beautiful peripheries in the world. The heritage resort has 22 rooms and can accommodate close to 50 people.
Borgo Finocchieto is at a distance of 34 kms from the Italian station of Siena and 2 kms from the Bibbiano Castle.
India Today have reported that the venue is completely booked till December 13, by when Virat and Anushka are expected to tie the knot.
The venue of Virat and Anushka’s wedding comes with a testimonial by the late American politician, Edward (Ted) Kennedy, who gushed, “Vicki (Victoria Kennedy) and I can’t thank you enough for having us at the Borgo.
