The Hitman of world cricket, Rohit Sharma, scored his second T20I century off just 35 balls. And, in his trademark fashion, he broke many records during his innings. The biggest of them was equalling David Miller’s record of scoring the fastest T20I hundred, off just 35 balls, who achieved the feat against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in October 2017.

Rohit Sharma started his innings a bit slowly but shifted gears in the 9th over bowled by Asela Gunaratne in which he hit two sixes followed by two fours off consecutive deliveries and reached his half-century within 25 balls.

Rohit Sharma scored 118 runs off just 43 balls that includes 10 sixes and 12 fours. He knocked 108 runs only through boundaries which explains the onslaught created by Rohit Sharma at Indore and sadly, Sri Lankan bowlers are the victims of his willow again.

After Rohit Sharma was dismissed and was walking back to the pavilions, he signaled towards the dressing room to send MS Dhoni ahead of everyone else. Rohit credits Dhoni for making him a bette opening batsman. Dhoni was the one who pushed him at the top of the order and gave him enough opportunities. Watch the video here:
