Food delivering companies like Uber Eats, Swiggy, Zomato have made it very easier for us to get our food delivered at our door step with exciting offers that they always have for us. However, the most annoying this in these apps is the delivering guys, who always find some way or the other to annoy us. Sometimes, they are not able to find the exact address or sometimes they take an eternity to deliver the food.
However, the recent incident involving a delivery guy from Uber Eats has left everyone shocked. Recently, a video went viral on social media where an Uber driver from Melbourne eating a meal he was supposed to deliver to a customer. The video is all over the internet and people are calling out Uber Eats for this unethical behavior of the delivery guy.
In the video, the delivery guy is seen waiting outside the customer’s house with the food package in his hand. The video clearly shows how the delivery guy puts his hand inside the food package and takes out a few fries from which he quickly stuffs inside his mouth.
Meanwhile, the complete incident was recorded by the owner’s security camera. The delivery guy was caught red-hand by the customer, who later asked his friend from local radio channel to share the video online.

As soon as the video went viral, twitter was flooded with reactions on this. While some people were blaming the driver and were asking Uber Eats to take action against such delivery guys, a few of them said that it served the customer right for being lazy to open the door.

Why are people surprised? The food is open and accessible. It’s disgusting but it happens and how much more we don’t see. Meanwhile… these business’ need to enforce food handling laws if delivering. Where are the food regulation rules?

Well, it’s high time that food delivering companies like Uber Eats, starts packaging the food so that they are not accessible to anyone unless the packaging is opened by the customers.
