Padman and Padmavat, two big movies everyone was waiting for. While Padman is based on the revolutionary story of a man who took ‘periods’ very seriously unlike many men. The other one is a period movie based on the life of Queen Padmavati.

Padmaavat since the time it’s first look was released has faced many controversies one after the another and finally Padmaavat after crossing all the hurdles in it’s way, is ready to release on 25th January 2018.

However, the movie was clashing with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’. But now it seems the war between these two movies has been resolved.

Reports are, a few hours ago, Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Viacom18 met the team of Padman and they requested Akshay Kumar to pull off the date of Padman’s release.

Akshay Kumar graciously accepted the request and pulled off the date of release. Yes! No more clash! No more confusion!

This is not just a big relief to audiences who wanted to watch both the movies but also to distributors and exhibitors who were confused as hell on how to divide the two bonanzas with equal displays.

Kudos to Akshay Kumar, that,in spite of declaring the date first, he pulled off the date. Now Akshay Kumar’s ‘Padman’ will release on Feb 9, which will give a tough competition to Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaari.

Wait for the announcement from Akshay Kumar.
