If Bollywood is a 100 years old, Sridevi was in 50 of them. She was arguably the first female superstar of Bollywood. Sridevi left everyone heartbroken and in state of shock after her untimely death. She has done around 300 movies in the 5 decade span of her career in Bollywood industry. She started her career at the age of only 4years. At the age of 48, the actress gave her career another chance and she stole our hearts once again with her movie English Vinglish.
Sridevi took her last breath in Dubai on 24th Frbruary, 2018. Yesterday, she was taken for her last journey or funeral. The complete Bollywood and Television industry and her fans were in shock and were pouring their heart through condolence messages on social media.
Although the fans and the friends of the actress were showering their love on the family of the superstar but the death of the legendary actress was surrounded by a lot of controversies and insensitive reporting by the news channel made it even worst.
There are some people living in our societies who can find negativity in every single thing, even on the death of a legendary superstar. One such person is Shobha De, who never miss out any chance to spread negativity.
Even in such a tough phase, when the entire nation is mourning on the death of Sridevi, Shobha De was complaining about the choice of venue. Yes, you read that right. In a tweet she expressed her views on the choice of venue. Here’s what she tweeted:
Irony of ironies. A Diva's condolence meeting at a venue named ' Celebration Sport's Club.'

The tweet read:
‘Irony of ironies. A Diva’s condolence meeting at a venue named ‘ Celebration Sport’s Club.’
The fans of Sridevi as expected brutally bashed her, even Bollywood celebrity Jacky Bhagnani bashed her in a single tweet. Here’s what he tweeted:
The truth is we are all going to die someday. The measure of what you leave behind is how people will mourn your passing. #Sridevi Ji’s legacy is to be celebrated. The world will remember that and not the untimely, petty musings of an attention seeker. #ShowSomeRespect https://t.co/lqlNClhfFk

Here’s the reaction of Sridevi’s fans:
This woman's lusting for publicity even be it at a departed soul's funeral. That too, of it being while the body's lying in state shows the fantastic makeup of this woman's mind.

Does it matter what the name of the venue is?
What mattered was the spontaneous out pouring of love shown by Sridevis fans and admirers
A little more sensitivity in your tweets would be welcome @DeShobhaa

Can you just have some sense, can you even realise the pain her family is going through can you even imagine how her daughters must have suffered since shri Devi passed at least be human enough to not criticise her last journey

And the irony was only for your eyes. The rest of us celebrated her in life, and in passing. A condolence note would be gladly appreciated by the family and the fans instead of the ill-thought lines.

How insensitive can you be?

Irony is mam just looking at your age #Sridevi mam was like a daughter to you.. So it is not important that where all that happening it is important to understand how much one is bearing all pain of loosing his/her loved one.. Take Care..

Ma Shobhaa De. U are a problem the society is actually dealing with.
The problem is that you have a say in everything, and twitter is an easy weapon for you. Keep quiet for a while.

Only if we could exchange Sridevi for Shobha De, what a bad deal that would be for God.
