‘Student of the year’ which was Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s debut movie, was produced by Karan Johar and now he is all settee launch Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ihsaan Kattar, in his upcoming film ‘Dhadak’.
Famous Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut appeared on Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and accused him of being the movie maifia and Hindi Film Industry. She also called him the uncrowned king of nepotism in Bollywood.
People on social media, who follow Karan Johar in huge numbers, were not very pleased when the first poster of ‘Dhadak’ was released. They, once again, accused Karan of promoting Nepotism in the industry and asked him to give chance to those who don’t forefathers in the industry.
Sometimes, we forget that Karan Johar is not just a film maker, he is also a businessman who is well within his rights to take ‘legal’ decisions that can be profitable for his company.
Recently, Karan Johar shared a beautiful open message for Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishan Khattar.
“It’s a new year which means new beginnings and time for new relationship goals. Dear Janhvi and Ishaan, you are going to embark on a new journey of stardom this year. You will face many firsts in 2018 from promotion to paparazzi to link-ups and trolling to fame and failures. You are going to see it all,” Karan Johar said.
“Through all of this, I just want to remind you to not take yourself too seriously and absorb every new experience because these initial days will never come back again. Janhvi, Ishaan your best qualities are that you all are still students,” he added.
Karan also asked them to not take themselves too seriously. “That you both really stand by your beliefs and the fact that you really don’t take yourself as seriously as I sometimes think you should. I love the fact that you are still vulnerable and innocent, please hold onto that,” said Karan Johar.
