Kangana Ranaut, the Queen of controversies, never fails to make headlines with her sharp and bold comments about everything. But the spat between Hritik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut is the mother of all the controversies ever happened in the history of Bollywood.
People from all over the country used to wait with bated breathe for remarks from either parties and not to forget the Twitter rants from Kangana’s sister, Rangoli.
While on one hand, Hritik Roshan choose to remain silent on the whole matter except for a tell-all interview with Republic TV, where Hritik even refused to acknowledge Kangana by name, on the other hand, Kangana made remarks about the controversy wherever possible, Fed-up by the gossip mongers she shared her share of the story without inhibitions and was lauded for it.
But seems like she is still at it, yet again. Recently, in an interview with Bombay Times, Kangana Ranaut was asked whether her movie ‘Simran’ was overshadowed by the controversies surrounding her personal life.
In her own trademark style, Kangana Ranaut said:
“THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN CONTROL IN LIFE. WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY CONTROVERSIES AROUND, YOU WILL BE ASKED ABOUT THEM.
ALSO, IT GIVES ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO COME CLEAN ON MANY ISSUES AND ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS AND DOUBTS THAT PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE ABOUT ME. I AM NOT THE KIND OF PERSON WHO PLANS AND PICKS ONE DAY TO COME CLEAN AND TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING.”
Whooops! Kangana gave a not-so-subtle dig at Hrithik’s tell-all interview with Republic.
Kangana also said that she looks at every interview as an opportunity to come closer to her audience. She thinks she is answerable to her audience. She said:
“As a public figure, why pretend to give an interview when you don’t want to talk or give one? Why pretend to go around the circles when you have no desire to let people enter your world?”
“I DON’T DO THAT. I’D RATHER NOT BE IN THAT SPACE. SOMETIMES, I AM ASKED QUESTIONS THAT ARE VERY INTIMIDATING, BUT I MAKE SURE THAT I ANSWER THEM. IT MAKES ME FEEL MUCH CLOSER TO MY VIEWERS.”
When asked about questions which scared her, she said:
“Yes there are, and at times, the way my past is spoken about sounds tacky. I believe in Vedanta philosophy, that your secret is very powerful.”
“WHATEVER YOU KEEP AS A SECRET HAS A LIFE OF ITS OWN, IT STARTS TO GROW LIKE A TREE AND TAKES OVER YOUR EXISTENCE.”
She also added,
“Whenever you confess to people, they start thinking about your miseries and battles, while you go home and get a good night’s sleep. Why else would a young woman like me bare her heart.”
“TEN YEARS AGO, WHEN I WOULD APPROACH PEOPLE, THEY WOULD TURN AWAY. NOW, THEY COME ACROSS AND GIVE ME A HUG. I LIKE THE ENVIRONMENT THAT I HAVE CREATED FOR MYSELF.”
Well, no doubts, we love her for all the bold and sharp statements, but do you think that she took a dig at Hritik Roshan? Share your views with us in the comments below.
