On 26th February, our Indian Air Force carried out aerial strikes inside Pakistan in a pre-dawn attack and targeted terror camps in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the Pulwama attacks that took the lives of our 40 CRPF soldiers.

The attack was targeted at Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen terror training camps and was carried out by 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets. According to the Indian forces, more than 350 people terrorists died in the attack.

However, Pakistan as always refused all the claims and said there were no terror camps and no lives were lost. But Pakistan is still making many desperate attempts to retaliate the air strikes.

Since last two days many reports had emerged out claiming that Maulana Masood Azhar, who was one of the most wanted terrorist around the world and the founder and leader of the terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed is dead

It was being claimed that as per the local news and a few eye-witnesses, Maulana Masood Azhar was seriously injured during the air strike carried out by the IAF. Although, no confirmation on the death has been provided by Pakistan.

The whole social media was celebrating the death of the most wanted terrorist yesterday with many claiming that the terror chief had been killed in Balakot air strike conducted by the IAF. However, a few other Twitter users suggested that it’s just another diversionary tactics or propaganda of Pakistan.

However, amidst all the speculations, Jaish-e-Mohammed released a statement saying he is doing well to clear the air about his death.

Apart from this, recently, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister during an interview with BBC had admitted that JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar is in Pakistan but added that is very unwell and is not even in a condition to leave his home. Here, watch the video :
