Death of a loved one is the most hurtful thing a person has to go through. No one wants to die, no one but then there are some who are ready to make any kind of sacrifice for our mother land, who are ready to die protecting our country. We call them army officers.

A recent incident has shook the whole country. The incident took place at Sumoimari Chapori when the IAF and Defense personnel were on their way to Majuli. They were travelling through an aircraft, which crashed soon after it took off from the Jorhat airbase around noon. Although, the pilots attempted an emergency landing but the aircraft crashed soon.

According to a report by NDTV, the aircraft in which the brave officers were travelling was a two-seater, which is one of the many small planes that the Indian Air Force (IAF) maintains.

The crash, that took place in Majuli island of Assam is being suspected to have taken place because of a technical fault. The villagers near that area, told the authorities that they saw the aircraft go up in flames.

A picture is making rounds on the internet in which the wife of wing commander Dushyant Vats, the office who died in Assam plane crash. In the picture his wife, Major Kumud Dogra, who is an officer herself was walking up dressed in her army uniform carrying her newly born child to pay her last tributes to her departed husband.
