Sridevi was only 4 years old when she made her first appearance on silver screen and since then there was no turning back. The actress climbed the stair of success and was arguably the first female superstar of Bollywood.
At the age of 48, Sridevi decided to give her career another chance, the actress made a comeback with Gauri Shinde’s ‘English Vinglish’. And what a comeback it was. She once again charmed everyone with her amazing acting skills. She literally lived the character of Shashi and stole our hearts away yet again. The movie became a blockbuster hit.
When English Vinglish completed five years, Sridevi posted a picture of herself with the director on her twitter handle with a caption “coming soon”, as soon as the tweet caught eye, everyone started speculating if the duo were planning for another blockbuster or a sequel.
As soon as the news of actress death caught eyes, celebrities and fans and friends started pouring their hearts out through the condolence messages on social media. The social media was flooded with pictures and videos of the actress. Every heart was mourning to the loss of the most loved actress of Bollywood.
Amidst all the condolence messages the director of English Vinglish, Gauri Shinde also shared a heartbreaking message through her twitter handle.

Yesterday, Sridevi’s funeral took place after a 3-day long post-mortem investigation and a huge crowd of fans gathered to attend the last journey of the actress.
Not just Gauri Shinde, the complete Bollywood industry is still in shock after losing the most precious gem.
